Star Box

The Beautiful Rosa taught us how to make this FABULOUS box at one of our training meetings in 2016.. It is so cute... And AWESOME to learn how to do..  using your star framlets (133723)....... you two can make one of these..

Simply cut out two big stars as your base and top of the box.. then cut out strips of matching DSP of the height you would like your box plus 1.5cm for adhering onto base or lid..
Score at 1.5cm long ways... Measure the length of one of the points and score that measurement 10 times on the DSP length .... (you may need to join 2 pieces of DSP to get length needed to go all the way around the box) Then score 1cm at the end to glue inside box ... cut out a triangle in each score line on the 1.5cm strip... the overlapped angle cut edges are glued to base to form the lid and the box base... You do have to be sure that one is slightly bigger than the other......

Have fun making this BEAUTIFUL box... XXOO

These cards are made with retired stamps but I just wanted to point out the cogs.. If you would like to make some of these it is simple... just punch out a circle and cut out some little triangles out of each edge all the way around... simple.. Cogs.. :)

Shabby Chic Stamp n Stack

I love the Timeless Textures (140514) Stamp Set... It is so BEAUTIFUL.. and when I saw these lovely cards on Pintrest I just had to recreate them...  of course adding my own twist...

This is a Stamp set I believe I will NEVER get rid of.... It creates such wonderful backgrounds!! It is LITERATELY TIMELESS!!!  :)

Community Card Class

Just a few pics of some of the cards we made at the Kingston East Neighborhood Group Card class... in  2016

We have so much fun at our classes.. It is something I really look forward to.. getting together with lovely people and sharing some creativity every week is definitely food for the soul!!!

This simple Valentines card is so easy to create... and it was a hit.. sometimes you need a SIMPLE card and that is enough!!!

Punch Art is Always a hit in Thursday Card Class,,,,
how cute is this sophisticated to-phat, monical and Mostache card for a man in your life... It's super easy and cute..

I love it when my ladies play with what I give them to do... the Rose Garden card in the middle is the "sample card".. and this is what a couple of ladies did... Colouring a diffent way (yellow) and using HEAPS of glitter...

And if you smudge it you can use a few butterflies to cover the mistake.. :P

Bloom Heart Gate Fold Card

This BEAUTIFUL Bloomin' Heart Gate Fold Card is too GORGEOUS not to share... you can put a matte on the inside and stamp it to make your card truly a masterpiece!!!  And of course stamp on the envelope to match.

Open the Gate and Let the LOVE in!!!

Valentines - Stamp n Stack

Valentines Day is coming up on us FAST.. How bout trying some of these stamp n Stack Ideas... I love trying to make a set of cards with things I substitute from my "collection" of stamps.. and creating your own background papers is PERFECT!!!!

Love is in the AIR...

Botanical Blooms - Just for You

How Awesome are the Botanical Builder Framlets (140625)?

If you haven't had a chance to use them then you must give them a go... so many wonderful things to be made with them!!!

I love the edge Die.... It really gives you a FANTASTIC feature on your projects....

And if you have a large word greeting you can ink it up on 3 different colour ink pads to get the tri-colour effect as on this card.... Make sure to ink up with the lightest colour first.. and if you are doing more than one card be sure to CLEAN WELL before inking up again..

LOVE BUG - Beautiful Ride

This card was made for some wonderful friends.. For their wedding.. I had loads of fun colouring this in with my inks and aqua painting brushes...

This stamp set was perfect for them as they Love the Bug.. and I even put "Ninja" the Dog in the back seat....  Cause he's a part of the marriage too.. :)

Baloon Celebration

Everyone loves Balloons for a BIRTHDAY celebration card... This stamp set "Balloon Celebration" (140675) is fantastic for such cards.. and what is even better is that we have a punch that cuts out all your balloons.. "Balloon Bouquet Punch" (140609) Cut out as many as you want until your heart is content!!!

I've done my favorite thing and CASED the cards in our fantastic Occasional catalogues...

But then I got original and designed this card... using Gorgeous Grunge (130514) small splatter stamp for the background. And then I used my Stampin Write Markers to colour in the different colours to get the rainbow effect on  the greeting..

Happy Stamping!!!

Sahbby Chic Christmas

I designed this BEAUTIFUL Shabby Chic Christmas Card in 2015.

I realised I have not shared it with anyone..

It is so worthy of being shared...

There are many techniques in this card like Dry Embossing-  Distressing - Big Shotting with Thinlets - Punching out and Distress inking...

I love the layered thinlets we have in Stampin' UP! I can see this card made with the stars and the hearts...

So Beautiful.. Soft and feminine with the Pink, Blue, Cream and Crumb Cake colours... And so Shabby CHIC!!!

Enjoy xxxooo

Blooms & Wishes for Christmas In July Projects 2016

Blooms & Wishes For Christmas in July 2016

This is all the projects we did throughout the day.. The Blooms and Wishes Stamp Set (141784)  along with the BEAUTIFUL "Blooms & Bliss" DSP papers because they are all so PRETTY and feminine.. and who does not want to make lovely pertty projects with their Stampin' UP! stuff??!!!

Here are some photos of the Blooms and Wishes projects... We had another lovely day for our Fundraiser... we had 25 ladies attend and raised over $300... Everyone loved the projects...  So here they are for you to enjoy also.. xxxooo

Best Wishes Note Cards (Razzleberry & Indigo) And Bag Topper...

We stamped the envelopes so that they match beautifully with the cards... Just an extra touch.. And if you wanted to make a few of these you could put them in a cellophane bag and give them to your friends or family as a lovely little present...

Blank Note Cards - Razzlberry and Indigo.

Stamping inside the card and on the envelope is also another way to make the WHOLE PACKAGE look BEAUTIFUL!!

Blooms & Best Wishes Card (CASED 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue) Who says you can not take a BEAUTIFUL project idea right from the catalogue.. Some AMAZING Artisins work for Stampin' UP! so why not CASE their BRILLIANCE and show others how to create BRILLIANTLY!!!

This beautiful card is on page 139 of the 2016-2017 Catty... The one of the right is TOTALLY CASED... But then if you want you can step it up with a little bit of BLING.. Cause it's my Favorite Thing!!! :)

Indigo Sunken Oval Frame Card (CASED 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue)
Again another beautiful example in our Catty... I just had to include in our event projects as it was a lovey way to show how the new oval thinlets can work together and embossing and layering techniques...

CD Pillow Box - Have you seen how to make a pillow box with a CD as a template?? It's so cool... I will attach the CD Pillow Box PDF I created here for you to use if you like it.. You will need a piece of DSP 6"x12"

And last but definitely not least here is a FANTASTIC Z Fold card... The BEAUTIFUL faux suede flower in the center was definitely a hit... Everyone loves the flowers... not necessarily the process of separating the card stock.. but they all love the look.. So it is worth the work...

Hope you enjoy these projects...

Boxes FULL of Christmas

What a Fantastic Event.. How Awesome were the projects?

Everyone LOVED them!!!!

This was the TEASER I sent out to all my customers to get them interested in coming to the event...

I took some close up photos of some of the elements on each project and used my PhotoCollage App on my phone and wallah here is the teaser. Too easy...

And here is all the Projects we made on the day.... We played Christmas Carols all day...
And we raised money again for the Angel Baby Boxes....

This Three Times a Reindeer Card was inspired by Margaret Johnson photo I found on Pintrest... www.stamphaven.ca.

This project - Christmas Tea Time Box was a SMASH HIT.. Everyone loved it.. It is such a simple project and easy to mass produce... And it is so DANG cute!!!

I found the cute little spoons in the bargin shop they were $2.50 for a 20 pack... the Measurements in this project are in the instructions in the PDF attached to this blog... If you would like to reproduce... You could make these for gifts for teachers.. for birthdays or just for thank you's...

I found this fantastic idea and was inspired by Franz - www.franz-z-blog.blogspot.com.au ... I changed the measurements slightly...

This Wooden Block Christmas Perpetual Calendar  was another hit.. It was pretty easy to make although we did come up with a better way to cover the blocks.. Rather than trying to sand off the excess we learned that it is MUCH quicker to use a craft knife to cut off the excess and then to sand the edges...

My talented Hubbie made the blocks and the stands...
We were so grateful for this GORGEOUS project!!!

The little Mini Jingle Bells are so cute as holly Berries.. and the fine silver thread is just such a nice touch to embellish it a little more...  If you stick the embellishment onto a wooden peg you can change it to something else with ease.

Christmas EXPLOSION Box ... This was fun to make.. a little intricate but could you imagine your loved ones of friends opening it up to find all the wonderful pockets full of pictures and journaling...

Here's a close up of the BEAUTIFUL tag on the outside of the box made with our lovely new Cheerful Tag Framelets... 141838

This is the Box opened up.. It's pretty impressive when you take off the lid and it all folds out..

If you wanted to you could also take out the inserts and put them into a scrapbook album no problem...

Here is some photos of the individual inserts

And a close up of the Christmas tree...

I LOVE this Jolly Jumper Card.. How cute is he??
Punch Art is always my favorite things to do with paper craft.. .. and this little CUTIE is made from only 2 punches... (Cookie Cutter Builder 40396 and Jolly Hat Builder 141847) TOO EASY.. FANTASTIC for us AUSSIES!!!  A little Kangaroo!!!

Here is the instructions for how to make this little cutie!!!!

The original Punch Art was created by Carolyn Bennie - www.carolynbennie.com....

I love that Stampin Up demos share their FANTASTIC Creations.. So we can all look super talented and creative!!!
Here is a list of the products I used for these projects... if you don't have all of them you can always substitute... I did do a lot of prep for this class almost everything was cut out and ready for my customers as I knew it was an ADVANCED class... But it was so worth it.. Everyone went home feeling uplifted and feeling that they had made some BEAUTIFUL projects.. Money and time well spent.. for the day of FUN... Plus we supported a worthy cause and as always Satmpin' Up sported us with a FANTASTIC box of Product to raffle off...

We had 7 ladies attend and 4 who couldn't make the day and purchased the kits to take home.. So with our botique class we raised a total of $120... A fantastic effort...
